A from total of 126 works submitted, 75 movies by 69 directors were selected and will go on screen at the festival.
The films will be shown in four sections including Iran Competition, International Competition, Special Screening and Out of Competition.
The festival is the representative of FICTS (International Federation of Sport Movies and Television) in southwestern Asia.
Iran ranks two after the Milano International FICTS Festival in continuous holding of sport movie festivals, as the festival’s website announced.
Iran has been holding the festival since 2002 for a total of eight editions.
The closing ceremony will be held on January 6 at which time the winners will be announced.
